This role is an opportunity to perform simulated attack scenarios against a wide variety of clients ranging from Financial services to Leisure.

Directly reporting to the team lead, you will be responsible for ensuring tests are carried out to a high standard as well as maintaining your own cutting-edge knowledge of the security industry.

We’re looking for highly driven and technically motivated minds, who aren’t scared to get their hands dirty in numerous areas of the business.

Goal;

Deliver a wide range of penetration testing to a high standard.

General;

  • Be involved in the penetration testing service as a whole, ranging from the initial introduction to final debrief.
  • Maintain a high level of current and relevant industry knowledge.
  • Attend networking events and become an ambassador for OmniCyber Security.
  • Liaise with BDM’s and account managers to aide in the sales process.
  • Spend time researching new and interesting vulnerabilities – helping to provide blogs and relevant collateral.
  • Own your responsibilities and bring a positive face to the organisation.
  • Manage your own time in accordance with client engagement.
  • Be prepared for regular lab sessions and CTF’s – developing vulnerable machines for team hacking nights.

Utilisation, CVE’s and Market Research

Skills

Must-have:

  • Understanding of ethical hacking and methodologies involved.
  • Large technical skillset allowing for the testing of infrastructure and applications alike.
  • Experience in project management and technical delivery
  • Strong customer facing skills that allow for a technical ‘Jargon’ breakdown.
  • A willingness to participate and aid in other area’s of the business function.

Nice to have:

  • OSCP, CPSA, CRT, CCT, OSCE
  • An aptitude or drive to research and stay relevant in free time.
  • DevOps knowledge or past experience.
  • Understanding of the wider security industry
  • Released whitepapers or research.

Type of person

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Self starter and proactive
  • Motivation and drive to maintain high standard engagements completed often within challenging timescales
  • Strong technical skills in either application or infrastructure testing, ideally both.

This role is an opportunity to gain industry level knowledge and ‘home-in’ on specialist areas of security whilst undertaking and understanding the components that make up the world of commercial cyber security.

We’re looking for curious and talented individuals to join our team at OmniCyber Security, here you’ll be able to undertake work required in delivering penetration tests as well as following a guided training program to assist you in furthering your security career.

Goal;

Assist penetration testers as well as further personal knowledge in the industry.

General;

  • Be involved in the penetration testing process and assist where applicable.
  • Regularly shadow penetration testers to gain industry knowledge.

You will use your balance of technical and commercial skills to build your sales pipeline and work with the delivery team to ensure a brilliant customer experience and significant customer tenure.

Goal;

Deliver supplier agreements for margin & volume consistent with company budget.

General;

  • Delivering outbound business development calls into new client organisations.
  • Converting incoming leads from events, previous clients and/or other external organisations.
  • Account management of high-value and other clients.
  • Managing prospects through the sales cycle from initial query and leads, through to closing and post-delivery management.
  • Leading meetings with prospective clients to discuss their requirements in-depth.
  • Generating proposals for clients once requirements have been carefully scoped.
  • Formulating clear, structured and detailed responses to RFPs and RFIs, in line with our services and capabilities.
  • Gathering intelligence about the cyber security marketplace, including long-term actionable information about future trends.
  • Attending events, exhibitions, conferences and other events to network amongst industry leaders.

Skills

Must-have:

  • Experience in outbound sales and/or business development within a technical or professional services discipline.
  • Strong communication skills; including the ability to engage and operate with senior stakeholders such as COO, CFO and CEO.
  • Experience in project management and technical delivery
  • Confidence and credibility in understanding the client’s complex technical and business requirements.
  • Background working for a fast-paced, dynamic sales environment.
  • Proven track record, in previous roles

Nice to have:

  • Experience in cyber security products or consultancy is ideal.
